First. I won't change to call it cutting. I know that it could be misunderstood cause in English it could mean other things than the body modification. Please accept that my first language isn't English. I'm from Germany and we use the English term "cutting". It is also offered as that in my tattoo and piercing studio. And well, that is what you get, you get cut.
Second. Why don't you use the energy it takes for writing such nasty comments about how you think I did it myself, to read the picture discreption? You could even use this energy for dropping me a personal note and just asking. I know we are on the internet and I don't want to complain. In the end I don't care what you are thinking. It's just something general. I don't like that brazenness. I always try to answer all questions from interested people and it is just disrespectful of you to drop your silly fictions. It doesn't respect neither the artist nor me as individual. But one thing you have to know: I won't talk to people that just aim to approve their prejudices.
Third. To all of you who think that it is immature: NOTHING is more mature than getting such a body modification. Of course in a sterile environment and by a professional. It is mature, because you have to think about whether you really want it or not. You go around with it your whole life, it is not a decision you make while eating your breakfast sandwich. And you have to go and talk to the piercer or tattooer or cutter or whatever. You have to interact and you have to live with the consequences. Maybe it gets complicated with the healing process, maybe people around you get angry or start avoiding you for the body mods you have. It is such a big mature decision to make.
Fourth. Who are you to judge what I will regret? Look through my gallery, look at my work as model. Then tell me again I'm the type of person that will regret anything. I mean, thank you for knowing me so well. Maybe you start asking and stop saying without knowing hm? If you always act like that you will get a hell lot of problems, cause nobody likes people who can't leave their own point of view. Just a little advice, dears. You know, I do care for you. Really ... sometimes.
Fifth. When you are saying that you want to browse here on deviantart without seeing such gory things ... The picture is in the right category. The category itself isn't censored, cause cuttings are an form of art. And when you see in the little picture that there could be blood and you won't like it... don't click it. I'm not responsable for what you are clicking at. If you do click it anyway, it just shows me that you have a kind of twisted favor for getting annoyed. And well, it's kind of weird that you get that disgusted by such a little blood. Blood and flesh is in us, we are made out of it. Just because I have a different view on it doesn't make it gross.
Sixth. I don't see that this picture of a cutting could be bad for the younger users of deviantart. As long it is an artform and a safe body mod. That's ALL I'm talking about. I think it's great that we got this forum to inform even the younger audience, to show them things that maybe aren't that common. An open-minded young person should get confrontated with body mods too. I'm not saying they should get some. But if you see something like that at an early age, it might starts a way of free thinking and prevents disgust and hate against people with heavy body mods.
And now I just want to say thank you to all of the wonderful beings out there, that don't get tired of talking and correcting and educating. Thank you so much for responding that fast to this mentioned comments. You are just great
So yeah. That had to be said.
Bye bye
